- British food farming and Brexit
Then he said, ‘The God of our fathers has chosen
you that you should know His will, and see the Just One, and hear the voice of
His mouth. Acts 22:14
For “who has known the mind of the Lord that he may
instruct Him?”[e] But we have the mind of Christ. 1 Cor. 2:16
We pray for Theresa May as she returns to work
after the holidays. We thank You that she has had a restful time and that You
protected her from all harm. We thank You Father God that You have chosen
Theresa to be our Prime Minister and we continue to ask You to give her the
wisdom of Solomon as she deals with Parliamentary issues. We pray for Mrs May
that You would instruct her and give her the mind of Christ so that all
Her dealings will be guided by Your Holy Spirit so
that You will have all the Honour and Glory.
For this reason we also, since the day we heard it,
do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the
knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; 10 that you
may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good
work and increasing in the knowledge of God;
Col. 1:9-10
The position papers about all aspects of Brexit are
being sent to all the Cabinet Ministers for their approval. We pray that each
Minister will be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and
spiritual understanding as they agree together on the position papers. We ask
that all the Ministers will be of one mind and that they will have a united
front regarding our position on Brexit.
Have I not written to you excellent things of
counsels and knowledge, that I may make you know the certainty of the words of
truth, that you may answer words of truth to those who send to you? Prov.
22:20-21
We pray for the British food, farming, fisheries
and environment that You would use Michael Gove, the Bishop of St. Albans and
other leaders to speak out and act to give the right priority and respect
in Brexit negotiations. We ask that our farmers will be encouraged to produce
more with help from the right subsidies from the government. We pray for the
right labour at harvesting time whether from the EU or locally.
Please pray and share with your intercessors, Bible
Study Groups, Prayer Groups, Church Prayers, Men & Women’s Groups. Thank
you.
