Prayer 10th
May 2018
O LORD, open
our lips, and our mouth shall show forth
Your praise.
For You do not desire sacrifice, or else we would give it. You do not delight
in burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and contrite
heart – these, O God, You will not refuse (Psalm 51:15-17).
DAY ONE - Our Father who
art in Heaven
Bless and thank the LORD
Bless you Sovereign LORD, for Your dominion is an everlasting
dominion, and Your Kingdom endures from generation to generation. Be praised
and glorified and honoured highly exalted One, for You created all things and by
Your will they have their being. Thank you LORD,O mighty King, that You have
chosen us, and adopted us as Your children, and that You have drawn us to yourself
with Your loving kindness. We bless You that we have been totally accepted by
You, and for the love you lavish on us and those who are Your children. We
bless You for your goodness and your kindness, O merciful One. We bless You
that You are our Protector and Shield, a strong tower into which to run. Thank
You LORD, that we and those who know you have a perfect Father who loves us
unconditionally.
Scripture Proclamation
See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that
we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! ( 1 John 3.1).
For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children
of God. The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in
fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about adoption to sonship.
And by Him we cry ‘Abba Father’. The Spirit testifies with our spirit that we
are God’s children. Now if we are children, then we are heirs – heirs of God and
co-heirs with Christ (Romans 8:14-17)
Declaration
We declare that God is the Father of compassion and
all comfort. We declare when we know God as Father we become His children and
receive the Spirit of adoption. We declare that by that Spirit we can call Him
“Abba” Father. we declare that His love is so great it reaches to the heavens;
His faithfulness reaches to the skies. we declare the love of God is given
freely, that it is so wide, so long, so deep and so high.
Prayer
Father God, we pray that the eyes of the
unbelievers in the Nation of Britain will be opened and that they will know
there is a God of heaven who longs to be their Father. We pray that no longer
will they be deceived by the lies of the enemy. We pray that they will allow
the Healer, the LORD, to minister to them, to heal those wounds and lies that
have dominated their lives for so long. We pray that everything that rises up
against the knowledge of God will be pulled down. We pray that God will send
the Spirit of His Son into their hearts.
Blessing
In the Name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit we
bless the people of this Nation to receive Father God. We bless them to know they
have a Father whose love for them is totally unconditional. we bless them to
open their hearts to that love. We bless them with the Spirit of revelation to
come upon them, so they can understand that God is good, and
He is a good Father who longs to give good gifts to
those who turn to Him. Amen
