O LORD, open our lips, and our mouth shall show
forth Your praise. For You do not desire sacrifice, or else we would give it.
You do not delight in burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken
spirit, a broken and contrite heart – these, O God, You will not refuse
(Psalm 51:15-17).
DAY FIVE - Give us this
day our daily bread
Bless and thank the LORD
Bless you, King of heaven that You are Jehovah Jireh,
our provider. Thank you LORD that You are our all sufficient One. We bless You
for Your generosity and kindness. We bless You that when we put our trust in
You, You supply our needs. We bless You that You are the LORD who fed and sustained
His people in the desert for 40 years; always receiving manna from heaven and
water from the Rock which is Christ
Scripture Proclamation
How much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts
to those who ask Him (Matthew 7:11).
And my God will meet all your needs according to the
riches of His glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians
4:19).
Declaration
We declare that God is more than able to provide
for us when we trust in Him. We declare that in His Kingdom there is always
enough. We declare that the LORD is bigger than our need, and He is our
shepherd and we will not be in want. We declare that the LORD is sufficient for
us.
Prayer
We pray that all the people of this Nation will
have their daily bread. We pray that none will go hungry, and without the basics
of life. We pray for generous acts of giving to be released in this Nation, to
help those who are in need. We pray that help will always be there for those
who are desperate.
Blessing
We bless the people in this country to know
wholeness and well-being. We bless them to have their needs met, and for others
to help when they can. We bless the Nation with a spirit of generosity to be poured
out in line with the nature of God. We bless the people of this Nation who care
for and support others. We bless every agency and those who work tirelessly to
help others. We bless their finances and workers and for all their needs to be
met. Amen.
