Dear All,
We are holding another extended prayer time from
6pm on Friday 22nd June (next
week). It will run through the evening until at least 2am on the
23rd, here at The Old Rectory Strensham.
This is timed ahead of a large-scale anti-Brexit
march in London on the 23rdJune. The heat is on…and we war not with
flesh and blood!
There are in fact three strands to our prayer focus
on the 22/23rd:
- Brexit and upholding our nation’s sovereignty
- The youth, the generation that will inherit our legacy
- Revival across this land
So who are the we?
For those that don’t know us, we have a dedicated
house of prayer here at The Old Rectory, Strensham, quirkily referred to
as the SHOP (Strensham House of Prayer) We also have spiritual trustees,
affectionately known as the SHOP Keepers, who meet regularly to oversee the
vision.
The SHOP Keepers:
The SHOP Keepers:
- Dave & Ann Chapman, Worcester
- Phil & Tina Cooper, Evesham
- Las & Arlene Ratnayake, Cheltenham
- Peter & Rosemary Read, Strensham
We are located 2 mins from the rear of the
Strensham Services on the M5, exactly halfway between Cheltenham and Worcester.
We meet most Friday’s, which is open to all. We also run special extended
prayer days, like the one approaching, focussed around key events that the Lord
lays on our hearts.
As on previous occasions, we encourage folk to drop
in for an hour or two, or for whatever time suits them. If you would like to
email a reply with your time pledge that would help us plan, but we won’t
hold you to it. If you’ve never been to the SHOP before drop us a line and we
will email some ‘finding us’ directions, or call us if your just curious.
We hope you can join us !
God Bless,
Peter & Rosemary
