Prayer4UKToday 22nd July 2018

Our Father in heaven Hallowed be Your Name JEHOVAH ROHI LORD our Shepherd Ps. 23:1 Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done. On earth as it is in Heaven.

Brexit

Lord, we choose to do whatever it takes to be able to pray the following prayer in complete surrender to your perfect will regarding Brexit.

Help us to seek You and not just relief from Brexit. We pray that You and only You will be glorified and that we will know You better as You give us greater revelation of who You are.

Holy Spirit, we humble ourselves  before You and ask You to search our hearts, convict and cleanse us of pride and any other spiritual darkness that might hinder us from repenting of our sins. We relinquish ourselves to You and ask You to do whatever it takes so that we might walk in the light of truth. We want to pray effectively for Brexit; therefore, expose to us our sins, so that we can confess, repent of them, and cover them with the blood of Jesus.

Lord, do whatever it takes to get our complete attention. We put on the altar our entire family and those you have knit us together with in the Spirit. we surrender ourselves and all those you have brought close to us and dedicate us all to You. In Jesus name, we ask You to bring revival to our life and theirs.

Remove from us all bitterness, resentment, and anger. Help us to walk in Your total love and confess, repent, and make restitution where necessary for Your honour and glory and our release from all bondage.

Lord, help us to obey You completely.

As we stand against the enemy, We are clothed in Your full armour covered with the blood of our Redeemer in whom resides all power and authority. We thank You, Father, that You defeated Satan and all the powers of darkness when Jesus died for us on the cross of Calvary. We are seated with Him at Your right hand, and we command all powers of darkness to retreat in the authority of the name of Jesus Christ and by the power of the Holy Spirit within us.

We plead Your promises and character over Brexit. We acknowledge that Your Word never comes back void, and we stand on the following Scriptures and promises to which Your Spirit has lead us.
Jehovah-Rohi God our Shepherd is guiding us through Brexit.
Ps. 23:1

Jehovah-Jireh the LORD our Provider will provide for us after Brexit Ps. 23:2

Jehovah-Shalom God our Peace makes us lie down in green pastures leading us beside quiet waters… He is calming us from all fear, doubt, worry, inadequacy, and anxiety by filling us with His Peace.  Ps. 23:3

Jehovah-Rapha the LORD our Healer is restoring our souls… We pray that Father God will heal the hurts, bitterness, control, judgments, differences, separation, wrong priorities, apathy, etc., in all the people. Ps. 23:4

Jehovah-Tsidkenu the LORD our Righteousness guides us in paths of righteousness…  We are made Righteous in Him and He is leading us in paths of Righteousness and Justice as we move out of the EU. Ps. 23:5

Jehovah-M'Kaddesh the LORD who makes us holy. His name is holy. He says, "I the Lord alone am Holy, and I make you Holy because you are called by My Holy name." We pray that we will not dishonour His name. Ps. 23:6

Even though we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, we will fear no evil, for you are with us — Jehovah-Shammah God who is there.  God promised His presence in Exodus 3:12 for leading the children of Israel out of Egypt and in Exodus 33:14 reaffirmed His presence to finish what He began. We pray that You will direct us through Brexit and bring us to the promised land. Ps. 23:7

Jehovah-Nissi Lord our Banner of victory prepares a table before us in the presence of our enemies.  We praise God for giving us the victory over our enemies, because we depend on the authority of our crucified, resurrected, victorious Redeemer. Ps. 23:9

We offer up to You our sacrifice of praise and acknowledge by faith that You have already won the victory. We choose to rest in You however You choose to answer. Thank You that You never change and that Your goodness and mercy are everlasting. We ask You in faith to do Your will, to reveal Yourself, to turn hearts and put a godly fear in all concerned about Brexit, and to bring Your Word to bear on all involved.

Father, we give You all praise, honour, and glory for what You are doing and are about to do. We thank You for the blessings of obedience and acknowledge that every answer we receive is from You, through You, and for Your glory alone. In the mighty name of Jesus,  Amen.  [Praying Through A Difficult Situation – Sylvia Gunther]
