Transformation
31st October 2018
“Behold,
I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth, shall you not know
it. I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 43:19
Lord, we
praise You for the power of Your love, and the power of Your grace upon our
lives and we choose to worship, to praise and to look upon Your Face. We
declare the song of the victory of Jesus will rise above this nation, changing
atmospheres and touching lives, that the sound of worship will be heard over
every success, challenge and failure, national and personal. We declare as the
Children of God put their eyes upon Jesus, they will be lifted above every
situation and circumstance, that new joy, and new strength will release a new
momentum, in the Name of Jesus.
Now
Jesus, we come into agreement with Your word given through Chuck Pierce and we
declare:
“A new
day is breaking in London. The land of the giants and the city that mothers the
world is being redirected. The Spirit of God is brooding for a visitation and
this is the time for a New Movement to begin.”
We decree
and declare Lord Jesus, in this day Your people will take hold of every promise
given by Your Spirit, leaving the past and taking hold of the future, with
hope, courage and amazing boldness.

The
foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native-born. Love them as
yourself... Leviticus 19:33-34 (NIV)
NOT STRANGERS BUT
CITIZENS
A
short walk from the Syrian/Jordanian border, there is a farm on some of the
most arid land imaginable. The Jordanian farmer who tends the land has
struggled to produce sufficient crops to support his family. Methodist charity
All We Can works in partnership with the Lutheran World Federation to support
people fleeing the Syrian war, and has been able to fund water capture systems
for the farmer. The ability to keep water has increased his yield and this has
meant he has been able to employ four Syrian refugees as farm workers,
supporting four other families as well as his own. One of the ways of bringing
peace into the world is to support refugees, not just in the short-term with
emergency aid, but in long-term projects that are sustainable and respect the
needs of host and guest alike.
PRAYER
Prince
of Peace, to those who are frightened, bring reassurance; to those who are
lost, bring hope; to those with no shelter, be a home and a resting place. Help
us to welcome the stranger and to recognise Christ in each other, that peace
will flow out into our broken world and that love will bring healing. Amen
