Church 12th September 2019
For
how much God loved the world - He gave His one and only Son as a gift.
So now everyone who believes in Him will never perish but experience
everlasting life. John 3:16
We declare that God is Lord of both the Heavens and the earth, He is righteous, just and merciful, nothing is impossible to Him, He is the sovereign living God, all life comes from Him; the Name of Jesus is Higher than any other name, yet He came as a man, spoke Good News, healed the broken hearted and set the captives free.
Even as the psalmist prayed ‘restore to me the joy of Your salvation’, we declare across this land, a fresh revelation of the depth of God’s love will come upon His people, restoring first love, healing every wound and releasing fresh joy. As the nation shakes, we declare the church will rise to both the challenge and the opportunity of this day, that His grace and His kindness will bring fresh life and fresh hope to the world around us.
We
praise God for the depth of change He is working in this nation at this
time; for all that He desires to release, for the healing, the
restoration and the Kingdom purposes He is bringing forth. We declare,
that which He has begun He will complete by the power of His word and
the strength of His might.
Now
Lord, in this season of the prorogation of Parliament, we declare
wounds will be healed, relationships restored and bridges built. As the
depth of the challenge becomes increasingly evident, we declare a new
desire and a new openness for Your wisdom and counsel will rest upon
them, that the voice of Your wisdom will be heard, rising above every
other voice.
We
cry out for encounters with Jesus through the political circles in this
land, that they will recognise their humanity and acknowledge His
sovereignty, in Jesus Name.
