Our Father in heaven
Hallowed be Your Name ELOHIM KADOSHIM Holy God Lev. 11:44 Thy Kingdom come. Thy
will be done. On earth as it is in Heaven.
The Lord works righteousness and justice for all the oppressed. Ps. 103:6
Father, we lift up to You the aspect of sexual abuse
by some politicians. There have been too many incidents of men and women
being abused by those in authority. Father forgive us as a nation for mistreating
each other.
Father we ask that Y0u would cleanse the Leadership
of this nation and that positions will be filled by men and women who know and
honour You and live by Your precepts. Give our leaders the grace they need and discernment from Your Holy Spirit to see that they fight not
against flesh and blood, but against powers
and principalities and spiritual wickedness in heavenly places who are trying
to destroy mankind. [Eph. 6:12,13]
Release the spirit of conviction with grace
for repentance. Break down the strongholds of pretence and religion
in all hearts and help us to walk in honesty and integrity and justice,
honouring one another. Forgive us for dishonouring and disrespecting one
another, for our petty jealousies and competition. We pray for the Party
leaders as they gather together on Monday to deal with sexual abuse. Sweep
through Parliament in the might and power of Your Holy Spirit and of Your Holy
Angels of Righteousness and Justice,
truth and integrity Holiness and purity in the Name of Jesus we pray. Amen
