‘Y@HOVAH TSIDKENU LORD our Righteousness
“The Lord is gracious, and
righteous; our God is merciful!” Ps116.5
We proclaim the mercy and
righteousness of God as the sure hope for our nation. We give thanks that Jesus
Christ has secured forgiveness and reconciliation for us. We pray ‘Forgive us
and heal us’ in the midst of the hurt and confusion many feel at this time.
“Your Faithfulness continues
through all generations!” Ps100.5
We proclaim that we belong,
young and old, to God’s Kingdom that
cannot be shaken. We give thanks for the
blessing of the younger generations and the specific purposes the Lord has for
them. We pray ‘Restore and secure trust and hope for the future’ for those
young people who feel disinherited or disillusioned. [The Maranatha Community]
