Our Father in heaven Hallowed be Your Name Y@HOVAH TSIDKENU LORD our Righteousness Jer. 23:6 Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done. On earth as it is in Heaven.

Brexit and Spirit of fear

2 Chron. 32:7,8 “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or dismayed about Brexit because the Lord our God is with us to fight our battles.”

Y@HOVAH TSIDKENU LORD our Righteousness we thank You that according to 2 Tim. 1:7 You have given us a spirit not of fear but of  power and love and self-control, so we pray that You would pour out Your Shalom Peace on all those who are in fear because of Brexit.

Eph. 6:6 We thank You that You will bring us out from under the burden of the EU, that You will rescue us from their bondage, and You will redeem us with an outstretched arm and with great judgments.

Deut. 4:34 Y@HOVAH TSIDKENU we praise You that You are taking us out of the EU by a mighty hand and an outstretched arm, and by great deeds of terror, all of which the LORD our God is doing for us.

Ps. 77:14,15 We thank You Father God for Your display of wonders, miracles, and power making the nations acknowledge You,

and You will set us free from the EU with Your own Brexit deal and all of us, your beloved ones, will continue to praise, thank and Glorify You. Amen

Day 26

Happy are those who find wisdom... Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace. Proverbs 3:13-18 (NRSV)

On my first trip to Asia we visited projects and schools, hospitals and churches. There was only one thing left to do: ride an elephant. Although situated in the heart of a vast city an elephant was located, we clambered on his back. Up there it was possible to look down on the traffic: here a motorbike with a family of five, mum side-saddle on the back carrying the baby; there a bicycle with a chest of drawers on the handlebars. I could see that a police officer on the junction would soon sort all the hooting and commotion. Then I remembered, it was me that was sitting on the elephant!

Help me, Creator God to climb off the mighty elephant of my own opinions. Let humility transform the way I meet others, so that, through listening and learning the world will be changed from the inside out. [Rev Dr Barbara Glasson is Deputy Chair of the Yorkshire West Methodist District]

Please pray and share with your intercessors, Bible Study Groups, Prayer Groups, Church Prayers, Men & Women’s Groups. Thank you.
