Our Father in heaven Hallowed be Your Name ‘ADONAI JEHOVAH LORD God Master Gen. 15:2 Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done. On earth as it is in Heaven.

Government  10th September

After consulting with the people, Jehoshaphat appointed men to sing to the Lord and to praise Him for His holiness as they went out at the head of the army”
2 Chronicles 20: 21

We declare the song of the victory of Jesus will rise above this nation, changing atmospheres and touching lives, that the sound of worship will be heard over every success, challenge and failure, national and personal. We declare as the Children of God put their eyes upon Jesus, they will be lifted above every situation and circumstance, that new joy and new strength will come upon them.

Now, in the Name of Jesus, we speak the release of a fresh wind of Your Spirit to come upon Parliament, aligning the words and thoughts of our leaders across this land with Your Kingdom will and plans, and we declare shift where there needs to be shift, turnaround where there needs to be a turning, and change where there needs to be change.

In the Name of Jesus, over this season and the season ahead, across every division, change and confusion, we decree and declare this nation will be led at all times by men and women appointed by You. We decree the mantle of Your wisdom and authority will clearly mark out those You have chosen both already established and those yet to be positioned, that a new level of direction, purpose and unity aligned with Your purpose will arise.

100 days of Prayer

Day  37

The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.
Numbers 6:24-26 (NIV)

BLESS YOUR ENEMIES

Jesus challenges us to love our enemies. Craftivist Sarah Corbett suggests how to do this as part of gentle activism to make the world more peaceable and beautiful. Identify someone with influence over an issue you feel strongly about, who you see as part of the problem. Find out as much about them as you can (who their heroes are, what they enjoy, even what they wear) and try to understand the pressures they are under. Take time to make a personalised gift or card for them to show them support, to build them up as they take difficult decisions, encouraging them to remember the impact they can have for good. Whilst you are making this, and after you have sent it, pray the priestly blessing (Numbers 6:24-26) for them.

PRAYER
Father of all, help me to move from hate to love; from them to us; from against, to with. Give me compassion for my enemies. Inspire me to pray for them and seek to bless them. [Dr Sam Richards is Head of Children’s and Youth Work for the United Reformed Church]

Please pray and share with your intercessors, Bible Study Groups, Prayer Groups, Church Prayers, Men & Women’s Groups. Thank you.
