Prayer Walking for the Election 

Pray this prayer over your county and then pray for each of the counties. 
Pray for your neighbouring counties and then the rest of the counties in Britain.
A list of the Counties is at the end of the prayer. May we suggest that you join together with a few people.
Feel free to modify the prayers as the Spirit leads. 

We pray for ........

We confess our foolishness of denying You as the one true, living God, our Creator to whom we are accountable, living as though our lives are a cosmic accident with no eternal significance, purpose or meaning.

We confess we no longer fear You, and thus we have not even the beginning of wisdom with which to handle the vast knowledge we possess.

We confess to believing that the prosperity of our nation is because we are great, while refusing to acknowledge that all blessings come from Your hand.

We confess that we depend upon our military might and our weapons systems to protect us from harm and danger, while denying, defying and ignoring You.

We confess that we have succumbed to the pressure of pluralism in our desire to be inclusive, so that we honor other gods as though You are just one of many.

We confess that we have allowed the material blessings You have given us to deceive us into thinking we don’t need You. (Confessions by Anne Graham Lots)

We confess all other sins that we have committed against you. 

Have mercy on us Lord.

Psalm 51 

Have mercy upon us, O God,

According to Your lovingkindness;

According to the multitude of Your tender mercies,

Blot out our transgressions.

Wash us thoroughly from our iniquity,

And cleanse us from our sin.

For we acknowledge our transgressions,

We declare that You are Jehovah-rapha, The Lord who Heals over....

We declare that You are Jehovah-jireh, The Lord who provides over....

We declare that You are Jehovah-nissi, ‘The Lord our Banner over....

We declare that You are Jehovah-rohi, The Lord our Shepherd over....

We declare that You are Jehovah-adonai, The Lord God who is Master over....

We declare that You are El-Elyon, the Most High God over....

We declare that You are Elohim, the Lord God the Creator over....

We declare that You are El Shaddai the Almighty One over....

Your kingdom come, your will be done for....

A Prayer of Blessing to be prayed over the County. 

We stand in the mighty name of Jesus and bless you….

That you might prosper under the mighty hand of God.

We bless you that justice and righteousness might take their proper place within your boundaries. We bless you that the favour of the Lord might rest upon you and give you peace.

We bless you that the Father's compassion might fall upon your people. We bless your poor that they might be lifted up. We bless you that the knowledge of Jesus might come in amongst you like a flood.

We bless the people of God in (name of County,) that they might rise up with servant authority and become a people of blessing.

We bless you that the joy of the Lord might be your strength. Amen.

Aaronic Blessing

The Lord bless you and keep you,

The Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you.

Prayer of Protection

Almighty Father, we come to You in the name of Your Son Jesus Christ, and in that mighty Name we break the power of every strategy and assignment sent against the British Isles and Ireland. We pray the mighty covering of the Living Blood of Jesus Christ over our villages, towns and cities, over our coastlands, seaports and airports. We ask that You release the angelic host to protect us from every attack and lift each citizen above every circumstance and crisis. We affirm the finished work of Christ over all demonic forces and decree that no weapon formed against the plans and purposes for this County will prosper, and we decree that no longer will violence be heard in our land, or destruction within our borders. We bless the atmosphere to be charged with peace and order. Amen.
